In a bid to enhance the standard of living for Deltans, member representing Ika Federal Constituency, Victor Nwokolo, has empowered hundreds of Ika people with cars, grinding machines, hair dressing starter packs, Tri-cycles, mini buses, generators, including 2 300KVA transformers to the communities in that axis.
Delta state Governor and Vice Presidential Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Ifeanyi Okowa, who attended the Empowerment Program held in Owa Model Primary School, Boji-Boji Owa, commended Nwokolo for his gesture in giving hope to the hopeless and advised the people to redouble their support for the federal lawmaker and the Atiku/Okowa presidential ticket.
Okowa while addressing the crowd said the PDP was out to address the challenges of the nation including insecurity, inflation and unemployment, appealing to Nigerians to see the party as a preferred road into birthing a new Nigeria as he attributed the rising hunger and poverty in the country to the poor management of the nation’s economy by the All Progressives Congress APC led federal government.
