Mary Emmanuel Ekpo a.k.a. Ekaette Udokpo Udoeka or simply Ekaette as she is called on the radio following her comic character hails from Akwa Ibom State, born and bred in Kogi state, went to the University of Calabar where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Literary Studies.
Her career path in the media started from her service year in Delta Broadcasting Service Asaba, Delta state. after which she bagged her first job with Trend FM, and consequently landed herself roles in Nollywood movies and also on Tv broadcast as a presenter, producer, and content creator.
When it comes to entertainment and the media Mary is a no-brainer, it’s something she was born to do.
Mary currently works with Crown 94.7 FM where she anchors the Sunday Rendezvous Show and she is a regular feature (as Ekaette) on other programmes as well.
